You’ll find a list of the blogs I love to read on the right hand side of my humble blog, and more useful non-blog resources I love below!

Sewer’s Guide to Melbourne

I’m building a map of fabulous places for sewers to visit in Melbourne. Let me know where else you think I should add!

Where I find patterns

Where I buy fabric (and browse)

Notions and stuff

Books on my shelf

Where I learned pretty much everything I know about sewing

Followed a link included in Curious Kiwi’s post. Love this and will use it next time I go to Melbourne later in the year. A place i went to last time I was there was the Alanah Hill outlet store in Brunswick St, Fitzroy. I went mad buying buttons, trims and elastics but didn’t indulge in the fabric as I bought a heap at The Fabric Store next door.

Thanks Vanessa – glad it’s useful! I know just the place you mean 🙂 I usually team it with a visit to The Fabric Store too! I’ll add it too the map – thanks for prompting me!

[…] Zoe and I share a love of nerdy maps, specifically ones that show us where all the sewing gems are hiding, kind of like a sewing treasure map! If you haven’t seen it yet, my map is here and you can check out Zoe’s Melbourne version here. […]
